Installing Prerequisite Products
To generate C and C++ code usingMATLAB®Coder™, you must install the following products:
MATLAB
Note
If MATLAB is installed on a path that contains non 7-bit ASCII characters, such as Japanese characters,MATLAB Codermight not work because it cannot locate code generation library functions.
MATLAB Coder
C or C++ compiler
MATLAB Coderautomatically locates and uses a supported installed compiler. For the current list of supported compilers, seeSupported and Compatible Compilerson the MathWorks®website.
You can use
mex -setupto change the default compiler. SeeChange Default Compiler.
